BUSINESSES I OWN & OPERATE
WHO IS LAMBOLAPDOG?
Dan Crosby, also known as LamboLapDog, owns five businesses: Canadian Protein, which makes nutritional supplements and is known as Canada's most trusted online brand; Coachwood Capital, a Canadian real estate investment company that focuses on acquiring US properties; Coachwood Golf and Country Club, a popular public golf course in the Windsor area; Synergy Private Label, a nutritional supplement and food contract manufacturing company; and LuxxisVIP, an executive limo and transportation company.
Dan's journey began in 2008 when he started a website to sell nutrition and supplements. He then opened up a store with the same name. Scaling a physical store is much harder and more expensive than scaling an e-commerce platform. He sold the store and focused on growing what is now known as CanadianProtein.com, which is an e-commerce brand.
Dan used all the money he had saved from working since he was eight years old to buy his first condo complex on Riverside Drive in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In 2008, when the economy was in bad shape, this happened. He then fixed them up himself, took equity from them, and used that money to buy manufacturing equipment so he could start making his nutritional products. Dan kept adding to his real estate portfolio and growing his online supplement business, Canadian Protein, at the same time. It's now the supplement brand that Canadians trust the most, and its value has approached nine figures.
Dan has spent the last few years looking for business ideas that will help people attain the financial freedom they are after. He started Coachwood Capital to help investors get the same returns as he has gotten over the years. He aims to oversee more than $1 billion in assets in the next 5 to 10 years by working with people who have the same goals as him.
He's often said during his business career, "I think I would have made a lot fewer mistakes if I had had a mentor." Because of this, he has decided to share what he has learned with people like you.
